I used to be a hard core "A" Car Rental loyalist, but I have to tell you. I think the folks at National do it better. You have the freedom to pick your car, within your class and you can't go wrong with the pricing. Friendly folks and easy access to the airport.
Like the other rental car companies, this location requires a shuttle, but the shuttle is very quick and convenient. National shares a building with Alamo.
There was a snag at the checkout gate, and we had to go back in to the counter, but it was quickly resolved and we were on our way.
Returning the car was quick and easy, and there were shuttles lined up and available to promptly take us to the terminal.
Great experience! I'm an emerald club member, so even though my flight came in around midnight I was able to get my car with no problem. It was a speedy fast check out and easy return process. Normally I rent with another vendor, but after a positive experience with National, I'll be using them again.
Very easy service and painless as emerald club member. Nice staff. Short shuttle drive from airport to rental. Appreciate being able to allow me to use my close friend's rewards points to rent a car. Made an important weekend with his family very memorable and smooth. Thank you National!
I'm a part of the Emerald Club with Executive Status, but I booked my rental through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Program and wanted to add a second driver, so I had to go to the counter. There was a short line, but it moved quickly, and we were soon able to go out and pick out our car. There wasn't a huge selection, but we had some options. We ended up choosing a Chevy Impala. The car was clean and performed well during our weekend rental.
Quick trip to and from the airport. The driver from the airport to National was fantastic. Helped with luggage, gave directions was very personable. On the return trip, however, the driver lacked any of those attributes. (As many have previously reviewed, I don't understand the need to wire two key fobs together. If you lose one you lose both). Overall a great experience.
