we Had a full load with 5 suitcases and 6 people and an infant. We rented a van that worked well for what we had. After driving it for an hour we noticed an odd sound, called Alamo and they traded it out. This was a bit of a process due to someone New closed the account but they took care of it. When returning we left our infant car seat base on the shuttle from Alamo to the air port. We didn’t relize this until we were checking luggage. To our supprise when we landed at our destination the folks at Alamo had gotten our car seat base to the airport and to our destination!!!! That to me is above and beyond!!! Thank you, thank you thank you!
Terrible and deceptive. Rented an SUV with the pre gas option of 28.77 counter person said what a good deal it was at 1.99 a gallon. When I returned it Sunday morning, they jacked up the price to over 43 dollars. Tried to get explanation from 800 number and they were short, rude unhelpful saying the computer screen would not come up. Did not offer any other help. We booked through Costco and wife is now giving them an earful. Great car, deceptive tactics. UPDATE afgdf emailing both receipts to.billing they credited my card after the second submittal. Based on overall experience I would now give Alamo 4 stars out of five.
Every contact I have had with Alamo is positive. They must treat their employees well because they are always happy, helpful and courteous. I do not even shop around any more when I need a car rental. Alamo IS the way to go!
WE HAD A LAST MINUTE, LATE ARRIVAL INTO CVG. ALAMO WAS GREAT, WE PICKED UP THE CAR RIGHT AROUND MIDNIGHT. NICE SUV FOR A GREAT PRICE. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.
Excellent service. The pickup went smoothly and I had a very nice and comfortable SUV to drive while saving money.
